Each session is shaped intuitively for your body: Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Ashtanga…Shannon uses breath-led movement, or grounding stillness depending on your assessment before we start working together. Is this physically intense?
Intensity is not the aim, but it is also not completely avoided. In Soul+Embodiment, the body leads; it knows when to soften, when to stabilize, when to rise, + when to meet its own edge. Some sessions are gentle, others ask more of you + both are valid expressions of your practice. Nothing is forced or performed. We use the postures to enter the body, rather than using the body to chase a posture. This work does not coddle; it invites you into honest presence with yourself. All bodies, all levels of experience, + all ranges of mobility are welcome, + your edge - wherever it appears - becomes your greatest teacher.
